Our Story

Secret Garden tiny weddings began with a moment of reflection

As a family photographer, I’d often thought about photographing weddings too, but the traditional, all-day format never quite felt like the right fit - more-so now that I’m a mother.

Then I discovered that courthouse weddings - the simple, low-key option my fiancé and I once imagined for ourselves, were no longer as accessible. It made me wonder - what would I want instead?

The answer was something small, beautiful and intentional. A short ceremony in a memorable location, shared with just a handful of loved ones - relaxed, affordable and truly about the moment itself.

And that’s how Secret Garden was born.

We host tiny weddings for couples who want something simple but special - a meaningful way to get married without the stress, scale, or cost of a traditional wedding. Just the two of you, your people, and a moment worth remembering.
